ROBERT CHARLES

ABOUT

Robert Charles (Rob), is a Barbadian musician, producer & songwriter. His journey began at the age of thirteen when he was given a clarinet at school and musically expanding from there was simply a means of self preservation.

He is a solo and group saxophonist (Alto & Tenor) as well as clarinetist at your service! The versatility of his wind instruments allow some spicy dance moves while playing energetic pop or relax back with some jazzy and neo-soul tunes! Alternatively, find him channelling his up and coming Elton John with his colourful shades while singing to his piano, in some stripped down versions of R&B, Pop, Alternative & Reggae hits!

His instrumental and theoretical tutilege began under Andre Woodvine, Arturo Tappin, Jerome Smithen and Roger Gittens, to name a few.

At the end of the day, music is his peace. As such, his only goal is to make a living from the gift of music; whether it be tuning pianos or selling out shows, anything but teaching it though.
